That’s exactly why we created this easy 3-ingredient “ice cream”  for you. It hits the sweet spot, but you don’ have to compromise on your protein goals.

The Greek yogurt gives this “ice cream” a creamy touch (minus the fat!).

Greek yogurt ice cream

Yields:

2x 4 ounce ramekins

Ready In:

5 minutes

Nutritional facts per serving:

100 calories

10 g protein

0.5 g fat

15 g carbs

3 g fiber

 

 

Ingredients

    • 6 oz (170 g) low-fat Greek yogurt
    • 1 cup (140 g) frozen berries
    • Splash of skim milk

    Toppings (optional)

    • Cocoa nibs
    • Hempseed 

     

    You can choose to freeze the “ice cream” after blending it, so that it becomes extra firm. But if you’re going to eat the serving right away, you can just go ahead and enjoy this delicious snack or dessert right after blending.

    Substitute the Greek yogurt for soy yogurt if you’re looking for a vegan alternative.

    Hempseed is a high-protein topping with more than 3 grams of protein per tablespoon. 

    Step by Step Instructions

    Step 1

    Add the frozen berries, Greek yogurt and milk into a blender. Blend until smooth. Add more milk if you like the consistency thinner. 

    STEP 2

    Top with cocoa nibs and hempseed. Serve right away or freeze for later!
