But we have some good news for you! Although not shown in the picture of this recipe, cottage cheese blends very well. And you don’ t need a fancy blender to get that smoother texture that makes a great base for any dip. This cottage cheese dip with veggie sticks makes the perfect bariatric snack. Why? Because it has both protein and fiber, which are two much needed nutrients post-op.

Ingredients
- 4 oz (120 g) low-fat cottage cheese
- 1 tbsp Ranch seasoning
Serve with:
- Cherry tomatoes
- Carrot sticks
- Celery sticks
- Blend the cottage cheese for a smoother texture
- Add 1 tablespoon of low-fat Greek yogurt for a different variety
- If you don’t have Ranch seasoning, try this combination of herbs and spices instead: Onion powder, dill, parsley, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and dried chives

In a dipping bowl, add the cottage cheese and Ranch seasoning. Mix well.
